We all know that everything is energy. Some things vibrate at a very fast rate (e.g. light), while other things (e.g. solid matter) at a slow rate.
You wouldn’t say that light is necessarily ‘better’ than something that vibrates at a lower rate (e.g. a brick) – it depends what you want or need in a certain situation. If a strong storm is blowing then some bricks to build a wind shelter might be perfect; whereas if you need to navigate from one place to the next at night, light would be preferred.
This, of course, is all rather simplistic, but it makes a valid point: what people call ‘higher forms of spiritual energy’ are not necessarily better or more powerful at healing whatever conditions you have – it depends on the circumstances. If you have a very high energy vibration trying to work on a very physical condition, for instance, it may not prove so effective.
To understand this better, let’s return to light. It’s good for a lot of things, but if you want to move, say, a rock with it, it’s not very helpful. Yes, it may have a very high ‘energy vibration’, but it ends up being so high that there is no traction. It’s like a ghost trying to eat a hamburger - it just can’t be done. The two exist on separate energy planes that can’t fully intersect on a physical level. If you want to move a rock you therefore need something that also has a slow vibrational rate, like a wheelbarrow or human body.
Think of the colors of the rainbow. The colors are determined by the energy frequency (vibration) of light. Red is the lowest, violet the highest.
If you want to be more grounded, or if you want more energy, then red is the best color. If you want to connect to your Higher Self, then violet will be more appropriate. So which energy vibration serves you best is determined by what you wish to work on. Healing Methods like Reiki and Pellowah channel a different energy vibrational range. Reiki is more ‘earthy’, Pellowah is lighter and finer.
Pellowah does not involve touch, so a client can simply lie down in whichever position is most comfortable for him or her, relax and receive the energy. There is no need to remove any clothes. There is no need to do anything to ‘help’ the healing session, like meditate during it, or anything like that.
A Pellowah practitioner will simply go wherever directed by the Pellowah energy, so his or her hands will often move a lot during a session.
The session will last anywhere between 45-60 minutes. Afterwards you may wish to discuss whatever sensations or experiences you had during it, but the healer will not be able to comment on this.
Pellowah practitioners are not counsellors. Their job is simply to become a channel for the Pellowah energy.
A client will very often feel relaxed during a session, but other sensations like tingling, energy flow, lightness, strange lights or colors appearing, a sensation of floating, a rumbling stomach, the twitching of a muscle – all of these things are very common and should be taken as a sign that the healing is progressing well.
Sometimes you might not feel much, just a little bit relaxed. That is okay, too. Regardless of what you physically feel, the Pellowah energy will be working. Remember that Pellowah works on a mental / spiritual level first and foremost, so at times it won’t be as physically felt as something like Reiki. This doesn’t mean the healing session is less powerful. Indeed, often it will be far more powerful. The important thing is simply the ultimate result of the session, not the sensations during it – as enjoyable as they may be.
Unlike other healing methods, a Pellowah healing session needs to last roughly 45-60 minutes (or more) to get maximum results.
Shorter sessions will still see results, but for really remarkable healing to take place, a series of energetic adjustments need to take place – and these take time.
Imagine it like a computer download: for the program to work, the entire download needs to take place. If your system crashes after 70% of the program has been downloaded, the program won’t work. Even if 98% of the program has been downloaded, it still won’t work
In some ways this seems like a frustrating restriction; but once you experience the power of a full session you will be less bothered by it!
Pellowah energy doesn’t stop working after the session ends. As a result, you will often find that whatever issue you are working on continues to get better and better with time as the Pellowah energy continues to work.
You must not drink any alcohol for 24 hours before or after a Pellowah session. Pellowah energy does not like to mix with alcohol and, as a result, may refuse to flow.
If you consume alcohol after a healing session, the Pellowah energy may stop working on you.
Please wait until 24 hours to drink any alcohol.
It’s fine to practice Pellowah, combined with other healing methods; but if you receive a Pellowah healing, you cannot receive any other form of healing (or counselling) for 24 hours after the session. If you do, the Pellowah energy will stop working on you.
Unlike other energy systems like Reiki, you do not need to wait between Pellowah levels. Pellowah is ‘gift’ - not something you have to work hard to receive. Through the Pellowah attunement you are connected to Pellowah energy and that is all that needs to happen. From that moment onwards you can connect to the energy of that Pellowah level.
No. You just need to be attuned to the Pellowah energy to be able to use it. This will happen during the course..
The centre founder Jeremy O’Carroll wrote a free e-book on the topic of Pellowah healing to help you understand its power.
